Free Online Art Class for Teens on Landscape Art
You can try my free online art class for teams by signing up below. If you are not able to attend the class lives you will receive a recorded version of the class in your inbox!
In this hour class on zoom students will see different examples of landscape drawing throughout history. They will also be exposed to contemporary artists that use a landscape drawing in their work. Students will learn about perspective and how to create landscape drawings black and white as well as in colour.
This class is great for students who are doing two dimensional artwork like drawing a painting as well as digital drawing. They will learn about the fundamentals of landscape drawing that they can then apply to their own style and their own techniques.
This is a FREE class that your teen can watch online anytime!
Online Art Classes for Teens
My online art classes are for teens age 12 to 17.
You will get a recording of the class if your team is not able to attend the class live.
Please note that refunds for the classes can only be made 24 hours before the class starts. Refunds and exchanges cannot happen after the class has begun.
Types of Online Art Classes for Teens:
Figure Drawing:
In this hour and a half long class on Zoom, students will learn about different types of figure drawing like gesture drawing and drawing the human figure in movement. Students will also learn about the proportions to be able to drop people accurately and realistically. Students will be exposed to different artists that incorporate figure drawing both from history as well as the contemporary artists.
Students will have a fun time at the end of class to practice both just start drawing and figure trying to receive feedback. These are great skills for students interested in painting, drawing or digital drawing.
Still Life Drawing:
In this hour class on Zoom, students will learn how to create and draw a still life. Learn about drawing details, creating contrast and texture, adding highlights and shadows to a drawing and more! See examples from history to inspire.
Being able to draw objects or a still life realistically is a great skill to have and will help improve drawing. Whether your teen is interested in painting, drawing, or digital art this knowledge can be applied to their artwork.

If your teen loves art and is highly creative this is a fun way to keep them engaged and give them something to do.
These classes are designed for teens ages 12 to 17.
I have lots of different online art class offerings so if your teen is interested in a particular style of art they can find a class that best suits their interests.

If my child is less than 12 years old can they attend the class?
These classes are designed for students ages 12 to 17 however if you had an 11 year old who is very passionate about art highly creative and very skilled then yes they are welcome to take the class anyone under 11 this class is probably a bit too technical I'm too advanced for them.
Can siblings take the class together?
Yes, you only need to purchase one online art class per household so you can take the art class together as a family or siblings can take the online art class together as well.
What sort of art materials are needed for the art class?
Basic art materials are needed you can check out the individual art class to check out the specific list of recommended materials. Most of the online art classes only require a paper pencil and an eraser.
My child isn't comfortable being on video is that OK?
Yes, your teen does not need to be on video and in the recorded lesson that is found out to families it will be cropped so it is just of me talking and presenting the information so I will not be displaying peoples names or faces on Zoom. Your teen of course has the option to decide whether they want to be on camera or not that is completely fine!
Are there any taxes?
There are no taxes added to the price of these online art classes for teens. Please note that the prices are in Canadian and I have added in brackets the prices in USD.
If I want to have a refund of the online art class am I able to do that?
If you would like a refund or to cancel your online art class please contact me via email info @jackiepartridgeart.com please make sure that you are contacting me 24 hours in advance before the class starts. If you contact me 24 hours before the class starts I will be able to issues you a full refund. If you contact me after the class starts you will not receive a refund.
