Some words in the English language are very confusing for students. They need to be memorized and students need to practice writing and reading the words in order for them to memorize them. They could just write the list of spelling words over and over. But week after week the repetition of that becomes a drag. That’s why I print off my spelling worksheets to allow students to play with designing fonts and drawings words in a fun way so they actually want to study for their spelling test.
