Painting Desserts and Drawing Desserts is a fun activity for middle school students. What kid doesn’t love desserts? Right? Painting Desserts comes in donuts, cupcakes, ice cream cones and popsicles. Learn more about Painting Desserts below!

Painting Desserts

In these painting dessert lessons I include a video tutorial for acrylic painting. You could also try this with watercolour or with tempera paint. I also include drawing templates and ideas to inspire students. There is even a pop-art page that includes four desserts in quadrants and a reading about Andy Warhol.

There are template dessert drawing sheets to help younger students with drawing desserts or to help students who struggle with drawing.

Use these templates to draw a donut with markers, pencil crayons, chalk or oil pastels, crayons, collage and more!

This product includes:

  • 7 Templates

  • Teacher instructions

  • Student instructions in colour and black and white

  • Examples of donuts for students to gain inspiration

  • Templates in black and white for students to plan and design their donuts or popsicles
