Palette Knife Painting
Palette knife painting is a technique where artists use a palette knife instead of traditional paint brushes to apply paint to a canvas or surface. A palette knife is a flat, flexible, and blunt tool with a rounded or pointed tip, often made of metal or plastic, commonly used for mixing colours on a palette.

Palette Knife Techniques
Textured, Impasto Effects
Thick Layers of Paint - By painting with a Palace you are able to create a very textured. Look at your acrylic paint. Textured painting is called the impasto effect. You can simply add extra acrylic paint to your painting, or you can mix your acrylic painting with a less expensive alternative like gel mediums. I like using golden paint gel mediums that they provide.
Bold and Expressive Style
Vivid Strokes: With painting with a palette knife, instead of a paintbrush, it allows your painting style to be more expressive and more abstract. You can really loosen up how you paint and you can create a more abstract and expressive painting that encompasses a lot more feeling to it.
Your paintings will look more expressive more impressionistic and more abstract, which can be fun to explore this new type of acrylic paintings style

Textures and Layers: Artists can create thick textures and layer colors without over-blending, adding depth and movement to the artwork.
