It will take more time and a little extra work to collaborate and figure out how to do our integration with other subjects at school, however the students will be able to create interesting and engaging projects that combine various subjects. As teachers collaborating, it is important that you are all on the same page, and that your common goal is to create engaging projects that the students will love and that cover the curriculum expectations that you need to teach as teachers.
Here are some ideas to get you thinking about how to integrate art with other school subjects. Of course, this will depend on the age of your child, as well as their skills, abilities and interests.

Have your child design some kind of invention whether it is a logo for a small business they are interested in creating or whether it is a food truck, a new shoe, or a T-shirt design. Have them design something and then write about their design choices. Have your child do some research to plan out their idea if they want to make something they can record their notes in point form either typing it out or writing it in a notebook.
Have your child write a poem or a short story and then they can illustrate drawings to go with that they can create a title page or they can create their own font to use in their writing.
