Each January is a time where I like to plan my year and think about my goals but also the time I will need to complete those goals. It is important to consider these tips for planning your year and learn how to plan your year to be able to help you reach your goals. Here are some tips for planning my year below!

Plan Your Goals

I like to begin by thinking about what my goals are for the year. What do I hope to accomplish in my art business by the end of the year? Once you know what your goals are it will be easier to plan around them to ensure you have time to achieve them. 



Not only do I like to think about what goals I want to accomplish by the end of the year but I also plan out the goals I will be focusing on each quarter of the year. 



Tips for Planning-Plan Your Rest 

Then I like to look at the calendar and begin by blocking off days. Plan when you are taking a vacation. When are you taking breaks from your business? If you don’t plan time to rest you will become exhausted and burnt out and it will be hard to grow your business from a place of burn out.

Plan Your Launches/Sales 

Part of your goals when having your own art business should be to think about what you want your revenue to be. When you have figured that out, plan sometime to run a sale, launch a new product or art collection or time when you are going to market your artwork. 



After having an art sale my tips for planning would be to make sure you have some rest scheduled after you have spent time running an art sale.
